Hey Procraftinators! I am back with another interactive card using the Dancin' characters from Spellbinders. This time, we are using the Dancin' Deer.
I batch made these with my Dancin' Snowman cards, so I made these in the same manner. I pulled out all my nesting dies and chose 2 dies, one larger and one slighting smaller. I chose the smaller one and cut it from a Christmas patterned paper and took the smaller one and cut it from a solid colored cardstock that coordinated with the patterned paper. Then, I took all my deer out to my recliner and assembled them while watching tv. That's where I like to do all my tedious assembling tasks.
I adhered all my reindeer with foam tape so that the legs would dance. I do believe there is an assembly video on the Spellbinders YouTube channel, but if not, there are plenty of other YouTubers that have shown how to assemble these little characters. It's pretty easy to figure it out. Then, I stamped out sentiments from the Dancin' Holiday Sentiments stamp set and die cut with a label die for the front and stamped a sentiment on the inside. I also embellished the front with some snowflake die cuts from two older Spellbinder sets, Deck the Halls and Holiday Decorations using Tim Holtz Metallic Kraft-Stock OR some poinsettia die cuts from a Sizzix die set called Poinsettia Fold-a-Long using some red cardstock.
